I am posting this to say thanks to Ian & Chris at 124works for the work they have both done to my w202 over the last 2 days.

My car was booked in yesterday for the bottom ball joints changing, I also asked for the car to be given the once over whilst I was there.

Another problem was identified:eek: & the parts were ordered.

The new parts were with Ian at 124works for the following day & Ian managed to fit my car in and get them done today.

All in all great service & all done at a good price.:bannana::bannana:

Good
What else needed doing (for all those 202 owwners out there to check) ?

In fairness to Ian I advised him of the issues & my thoughts on some of the problems & Ian confirmed my thoughts that the engine mountings were past their best.

What I didn't realise was how much past their best the mounts were!!:eek:

The car feels so much better now, a lot of the harshness from the old 250td lump has gone now & it feels like a merc should again.

Rather than start another thread, just want to thank Ian for his persistence in changing my steering wheel over to one I had bought from ebay

Just to say I had all the fluids, filters, spark plugs, pads and a few other items sorted by 124Works on Tuesday and by all accounts it was a fine job! :D

Car feels much better with new sparks and ATF.

Is your right foot still as heavy though Nick
