Are they genuine AMG's ?

I don't think the 16" ones are. Mine have the AMG Logo written on the centre. I tried to blow the pictures up and can see some writing but I do not think they have the logo. Also the centre shape is different, and mine have 5 small holes around the bolt holes.
I am not an expert TBH but I am sure one will be along soon. I believe mine are series 2. These may be series 1?

Neither of the two sets are AMG's.

I don't think it matters an ounce on Penta wheels - the design is 99.9% identical and on the 8J versions, offsets are also identical.

Penta versions also take the genuine AMG centre caps.

So with the only notable difference being 'PENTA' homologation instead of 'AMG', unless you're restroing an original AMG car, in my opinion/experience, little point in worrying about whether genuine or not.

Nice score!

Though very similar, the UK manufactured Penta and the German manufactured AMG Five Spoke Road Wheel are in fact different. The UK Penta spokes measure an inch longer and have less of vertical lip than the German built examples.

I actually prefer the UK design as it gives the wheel the feel of a greater diameter wheel.

The center caps are still available from the dealer.
