<div class="bbWrapper">It should be stamped on the inside, something like 7Jx52, where the 7J is the rim width/profile, and the 52 is the ET or offset.<br /> <br /> I suspect, if you've bought proper MB wheels, you will not have a problem - I switched my S204 from 16&quot; Elegance (standard) rims to 17&quot; AMG 6 x twin spoke rims (staggered set), improved the driving feel without messing up the comfortable ride (also changed from Contisports to Goodyear Eagles, which probably also helped the ride comfort!).<br /> <br /> In the back of your owners manual you'll find recommended wheel sizes.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">With my staggered set of 17's I have 225/45 on the front and 245/40 on the rear, so you'll either need this set up or 225/45 all round for a non staggered set-up. If you're not sure, look at the inside of all 4 wheels for the xJxET numbers, from your earlier post saying 40 and 45 profile it sounds like you have a staggered set same as me.</div>
 
<div class="bbWrapper">Not 100% sure that 5x112 PCD is correct for the 204, for some reason I have 5x120 in my memory. Hope my memory is wrong, otherwise the OP has spent money on incorrect wheels! Another thing to check is wheel bolt size, as for instance W/S203 wheels use 12mm bolts whereas W/S204 wheels use 14mm bolts - as I discovered and had to sell my S203 winter wheels and buy another set for the S204!!</div>

You'll find that the car wallows less on 17's and feels more precise on the steering and feel, and with decent tyres the ride comfort is not compromised - SWMBO actually prefers the car on 17's to 16's whether driving or as passenger, I suspect part of that is that the 16&quot; Contis were stiff and noisy and the 17&quot; Goodyears are softer and quieter - and now I have Michelin Cross Climates on the front there's very little difference so once the rears wear out I'll replace them with Cross Climates!</div>
