What style? With tyres? Sounds cheap regardless.

I got £250 for a set of standard 16" E Class wheels in need of a refurb - that's a good price for AMG wheels, assuming they are in serviceable nick.

thinking more about this its probably better for me to get these as i can use the rear ones and at least sell the rear pair i have to offset the price. :) will see what happens

Well after a 2hr drive this morning from salisbury to east london I got to see these wheels for myself. No damage but quite rough. I nearly bought them for £220 cash but then noticed the front 2 were made in Belgium and the rear 2 alloys which were 9 inch wide were made in Germany. . To be honest the rears didnt have much of a deep dish.. about the same as I have now so I suspect they were probably the fronts off a 450 sl amg or something and the fronts off who knows what. So decided against it. The guy was really nice and honest and didnt mind as his phone hadn't stopped ringing since he promised them to me. So back to the drawing board. :)

I now need a pair of 18inch amg monos that will sit inside my front wings. As ET31 is too much. Guess I need something more like ET35 or something. Would it be wtong to think j could put 17 inch x 7.5 on the front and leave the 18inch kn the rears..!!!!

From the advert.

I HAVE FOR SALE MY MERCEDES E36 AMG ALLOYS 18" NOT MINT BUT GOOD CONDITION YOU WILL GET FOUR GENUINE NOT COPY RIMS NO TYRES
FRONT RIMS ARE MADE IN BELGIUM MERCEDES STAMP et 31 8jx18 H2
THE REAR ARE MADE IN GERMANY MERCEDES STAMP et35 9jx18H2

Yes he has just updated thr post..!!!!!!! Lol

I think original AMG wheels are made by both Ronal and BBS? Certainly I've seen enough of them made in both Germany and Belgium. I don't see the issue personally? The sizes and offsets sound correct for W210 AMG cars and fit on W202s as well as others.

I think they would cost around £2k new so £55 a wheel would have been a bargain even factoring in refurb costs.

sometimes you just gotta go by your instict and this time mine told me to walk away.. they were ok as i said but ive had problems before with belgium and german mixed amg alloys. and to be honest even though the rears were 9 inch the actual wheel lip was no more than what i have now

I couldn't even tell you if all my AMG's were from the same country !

problem i have is the 18Inch amg monos for the front as an 8inch x et31 sit ever so slightly proud of the front wheel arch so dont quite look right. unless i can find an 18 amg mono that is either a 7.5 inch width or has an et of say 35 or so im always going to have this problem, or i drop down to the original 17" amg staggereds that were 7.5 x 17 in the front and i know these sit inside the arch...!!!

Hi guys
I bought those wheels with tyres for £300 as you said there is no damage but the wheels a bit rough taking the for the refurb today
Don't want to hijack the thread but need an advice about the refurb was thinking to paint the inner part in black and polish the lips, or just bring them back to originals
What your thoughts guys?

Have you tried to fit them yet ? As most monoblocks use a m14 wheel bolt and the w208 uses m12 wheel bolts as far as I am aware.

No not yet but as far as I know it should m12 as I tried to put some mono blocks on my w211 before and I had redrilled them as they where m12 and w211 is m14
Anyway I'll check them a bit later and update it here

here the pics of them fitted
