19'' Fronts

Hi All,

I have just brought a C320 (W203, thanks to those who told me this, KillerHERTZ & JOB-BLACK-RAT)
It has 19'' AMG wheels with 255/35/19 on the back and 235/35/19 on the front but have been told by the owner I can put 255/35/19 on the front to match the backs but I'm sure I read on here at some point that W203 can only be fitted with 225 wide tyres on the front, is this correct??

AMG's soon for sale

Hi All,

Don't worry about the earlier question, I've now ordered a set of 18'' Mandrus Millennium in Silver, shod with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 225/40/18 & 255/35/18.

Can anybody tell me what the name is of the 19'' AMG's on my car currently as they will be up for sale soon!

These look like CLS AMG reps. I also think that you should have split profiles front and rear as well as width. So on 18's you would want 40 rear and 45 fronts.

To check if they are reps you need to look on the inside of the rim for the genuine AMG part number. Stunning looking wheels.

Have a look on e-bay for 19 AMG wheels and you will probably find the reps. These are usually sold as "AMG Style"

Thanks for the input, I have split the profiles 40 front 35 rears.
Brought the car from a guy who works at a Mercedes dealership, it was his own car and told me they cost £2000 so hoping they are the real McCoy!
They come off Friday so will look inside backs then.

Are you sure these wheels are staggered? I have the same on my W211 and they're all the same width so same tyre spec all round.

doesnt really matter, you can stagger the sizes of tyres on wheels.and bruce miller your wrong mate its 40 front and 35 rear for 18" on c class's

Partly wrong. I knew they were different profiles. I should know as I have the same wheels with correct tyres (thank you Gunning) on my C55.

Hi all,

Thanks for all your input, wheels arrived this morning they look great.
Ordered from rimstyle.com who advised me on having the staggered so I'll take there would for it, 8.5x18 all wheels with 225/40 fronts. 255/35 rears.
Fitting them tomorrow will post pics if I have the time or over weekend.
Find out if the AMG's are pucker ones or copies when I replace them tomorrow.

They will look better, those AMG reps dont suit a W203.
