1974 w114.072

I have a 1974 W114.072. I have been working on this car since I bought it trying to clean up previous owner mistakes. I have traced down that the ignition control module, the ballast resistors, and the Manifold pressure sensor are all bad. I am wondering if any of the ignition system can be upgraded to alleviate the need for these parts. I have been trying here in the USA for upgrades but everything is listed for the carb. version of this car that was sold here.

Tim, where in the US are you? For ignition module, it's common to the carb engine cars. The MPS, trigger points and computer are unique to the M114E and M110E. Rarely does the computer or the MPS go bad though.
