1975 mercedes 280 ce auto green

Urgh....theres some hard to fix rust in that.....was kind of looking OK until I saw the door pillars.

Cat C means a relatively hefty bump, would cost more to repair than the car is worth (Cat D is less serious, means it was viable to repair but insurer decided to pay out on the claim rather than pay for the works).

Also, I note the spare wheel has a blue hubcap, appears to match the colour of the boot inside (?) so looks to have had a (rather bad) full respray?

Didn't notice the hubcap! Also looks like the trim round the front of the window is being held on by a good ol' amount of tape. I'm a real sucker for old motors and i'd still have it.
