Hi All,

As previously mentioned in another topic, I am changing over to a personal contract hire car for 12 months and would like to sell the beloved 190e 2.6 for around £2200.

Taxed until October and MOT'd until September. 148k miles on the clock. I've owned it since 15th April 2003 when I collected it with 139k. It has always been garaged off street in my ownership.

I have loads of paperwork for the car including the original puchase receipt, previous MOTs, some service history/paperwork, parts receipts, manuals and Mercedes service information.

I'll be totally honest about everything to do with this car, as I respect the members of the forum immensely:

The car cost me £2000, and I have spent close to £2000 on it since purchase. No performance modifications have been made to this car. It is 100% original except for the wheels and tyres. This car has been to Germany and has lapped the Nurburgring 6 times without incident. Apart from that this car has not been to any track days or abused in any other way. The previous owner ensured that all paint chips (not many) were touched up using factory provided paint sticks. I've used only Autoglym and Meguiar's paint care products on it, but never bothered to remove swirl marks.

This car drives very well, and I am sure that it will be appreciated by the next owner as a reliable, relatively fast, capable cruiser.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Please enquire on 07941492448.

What's wrong with it:

There is a small scuff on the black plastic of the front bumper.
The rear passenger's side door card is not quite sitting right at the top.
One scrape on the rear passenger's side alloy wheel.
Headlight washers don't work - never checked why.
Passenger's side electric mirror doesn't move left and right - never checked why.
There are two small dents about the size of 50p pieces, with no broken paint.
Like every 190e ever made, there is a small whine from the rear differential unit.
The car needs new brake pads, which I will have replaced before sale.
The air conditioning recirc switch is broken, but has been confirmed to be only the actual switch on the dashboard.

SOLD!

Here's the sad part - £1400. Would have been more if I hadn't have kerbed two alloys an hour before the sale.

No car for the next two weeks!
