1995 Mercedes E320 Auto Black

That's 15 minutes down the road from me.....If only I was looking for one! ;)

Seems cheap considering the mileage, spec and colour combo.
The wheels need a refurb, and those front arches pretty bad, though.
I wonder if any the usual M104 problems have been taken care of?

Also, I've just noticed the o/s door mirror is silver! It seems a bit daft to have one fitted and not painted - surely that wouldn't cost too much more?

Seems a bargain price, but engine bay looks a little untidy and the coolent level is low.

either they are selling it for somone who does not want it or they dont realise it should be up for almost double that if not more if its really good

Got to be worth a look Mercboiuk? You could always buy it and sell on??

There is something just not right about that car. I thought the real two-tone lower cladding was done away with post-facelift (at least to the extent of being black over grey).

Price reflects condition I imagine.

From the pics there's rust and an odd mirror which will need a trip to the bodyshop at the very least.

Everything else is conjecture without seeing the car..

No pics of the interior.

Could be the basis for a rolling resto for a nice late E320, could be a money pit...

hang on, thats the same thing ;)...

I've just checked for the VIN on the auttekelectronics site,
http://www.autotekelectronics.com

but it doesn't have details of the VIN. I was going to check on the Russian site for the spec. I've never had a problem checking for VINs before?
They stopped doing it as they had to pay DVLA for each MBClubUK check!

They stopped....they obviously didn't know how many MBClub members would be using it, without purchasing a part! Is there anywhere else to get the VIN from the reg?

Thats what makes me think its wonky, the two-tone thing is awful and the whole car looks slightly off

Could be a screaming bargain though

Get the VIN checked with log book, take it for a drive, budget for having the arches tarted up - shouldn't be that much - and drive it away!

Drive it about see how it goes, if not sell it on, you'll easily get that money back.

Needs a good look round it tho.

just down the road for me (and mercboiuk!)......i may take a look;)
