Unfortunately, I am simply not using this car. My wife has not even been in it (!) and the only time that we go out, we have to take the four door since it has a baby seat (which does not fit in the SL).
So, rather than a quite expensive ornament in my parking spot (which it is at the moment), it would be better for me to sell it and get something more practical. I have been debating a CLK convertible so that may be the next stop.
My car is the update version so can be distinguished from the older R129's or non-facelift cars by the following:
- the later M113 engine
- electrically retractable mirrors
- chrome rings around the instruments
- Xenon headlights
My car is brilliant silver over black leather interior and has:
- climate control air conditioning
- rear seats (that don't fit a Maxicosi!)
- electrically adjustable memory front seats with dual level heating
- MBSS security system
- 62,000 miles
- full service history with books and receipts
- both sets of keys including the alarm key
- electric tilt/reach steering wheel
- OEM MB sound system with 6 disc stacker in the boot
It also has the following options:
- panoramic glass roof with integrated sun blind
- wind deflector (including the cover in the boot)
- half wood/leather steering wheel (not many cars had this - mine was the only one that I saw and I looked a lot!)
- 17 inch 'SADOR' Mercedes Benz alloys
