Just seen my oem rear right wheel loosing about 8psi the past two days, whipped it off tonight, cracked, no previous welds. Got to drive home tomorrow about 300 miles, this OK to drive on? Thanks all.
And anyone know where I can find a used replacement, not many on ebay that aren't cracked.
Or just buy something forged?

I drove around unaware for months I had a cracked rear wheel on my E55.
In your position I'd trust driving it home 300 miles but I'd keep to the speed limits;)
It may be possible to be repaired but as with most large diameter Mercedes alloys, the pot holes will most likely get them eventually.

Forged wheels are far lighter (and expensive) but I don't know if they offer any more protection against cracking.:dk:

I would go 18”, you’ll be worry free. I went from 20” to 18” and the ride is so much smoother. I had my 20’s straightened 3 times before I eventually swapped for 18’s. I bought a replica set from CM wheels for around £440.

Think 18s are a bit extreme for my car, but maybe 19s won't look too bad.
20s sit just right though, but been looking around, about £1k to replace the one wheel like for like, or full set of flow formed around £2k + tyres 🤔

Get ya man parked behind to weld it!!! ☺️

Seriously though. All the best tomorrow for a safe journey. 🙏 🤞
