This Mercedes was bought by the original owner in June 2001, I bought it from his widow in May 2014. Mileage 124,000. Silver bodywork with grey leather interior, auto/ geartronic transmission, heated electric memory front seats, cruise, electric rear headrests, electric rear blind/mirrors, ice cold air con ( new condenser and drier in September 2020 ). Everything works perfectly . Michelin Cross Climates on 16” wheels, the rear tyres were replaced 1,000 miles ago.
The engine and gearbox are superb and the engine doesn’t need topping up between services. I used this car for long runs only and average 35mpg. It drives and stops extremely well and I don’t think it’s ever been involved in an accident. Its been fantastically reliable in my ownership.
Never driven in the snow so very clean underneath. The panel work is good for its age but not immaculate. There is the usual minor rust on the rear wheel arches etc however it’s better than most, and a couple of minor dents/ scratches. People are still impressed with the car.
I have every bill and MOT since new and the stamped service booklet.
Reason for sale: since acquiring a dog in January and the necessary estate car the Merc has hardly been used. It’s now a third car and I’m genuinely sad to part with it but its just sitting outside doing nothing. I‘ll include the RoadHawk DC-1 dash cam which is hardwired in.
The photos show the registration number Y7ALH, that plate has been retained and the reg is now Y139WGC.
