MOT until December
172,980 miles at the time of the advert
Very nice drive, sits wonderfully on the motorway, just glides along, a very comfortable car.
Bags of power, great at taking off when you need to get out of a busy junction quickly.
A quick run down of the gadgets the car has, some were standard and I believe some were optional extras at the time the car was ordered new:
Other things to mention
The boot lid closes gently automatically as you move the tailgate to the closing position, as you do that, the boot area cover automatically closes up too. The boot cover opens up automatically as you open the boot. You can also fully retract the cover if you wish.
The rear seat heat restraints can be retracted by a button on the dash, useful for if they’re left up, but when you’re in the car with no one in the back and you want better rear visibility, you can retract them with the press of a button.
The boot area has an extra storage area which you can access by putting down one of the rear seats, useful for keeping maybe some jump leads etc which you don’t want floating around in the boot.
The boot also has a cargo net which you can choose to have up or retracted.
The boot area also has cargo rails and the kit for strapping things down. You can choose to have the hoops for strapping, or you can fit the aluminium fence to separate the boot area for keeping boxes restrained. There is also a belt type of restraint for holding things. I am told this is usually rare to see still complete with the car, as most were lost a long time ago.
The SBC hold is great, as you can have the brakes hold the car for you, whilst your foot hovers over the accelerator ready to get out of that busy junction. The SBC pump was replaced by the previous owner.
The bad bits:
The good bits
Big folder full of history.
Two keys
I also have some spare parts which will go with the car.
I also have a spare set of wheels which you’re welcome to have.
You can also have the fitted Mercedes roof bars
Not being sure what they're worth now, I've tried to price the car based on what else is out there I can find. I've seen others in similar exterior condition (and with poor interiors) for more money, so thought I'd come down a bit, otherwise the car is a lovely drive with a good interior. Having seen what's out there, I'm putting it on at £1,500.
Thanks for looking

Bags of power, great at taking off when you need to get out of a busy junction quickly.
A quick run down of the gadgets the car has, some were standard and I believe some were optional extras at the time the car was ordered new:
- Dual zone climate control
- Electric heated seats
- Heated electric door mirrors
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Cruise control and speed limiter
- SBC hold braking system
- 6 disc cd changer and radio
- Automatic lights
- Bi Xenon headlights
- Automatic windscreen wipers
- Electrically soft closing tailgate
- Automatic opening and closing boot area cover

The bad bits:
- The bonnet Mercedes badge was removed by someone, perhaps they thought the car looked better without?
- Rust bubbles on the rear arches, right hand side the worst
- Scrape on the right hand rear door from a hit and run
- Wheels need a refurb ideally, I’ve cleaned them up as best I can, but there is some baked on brake dust on them too which I can’t clean up with regular washing
- Slight dent on the tailgate
- Just days before listing the car, a stone flew from the back of a lorry and put a crack in the windscreen! Typical, but I thought I’d crack on with the advert and we can decide what we’re going to do with it in the meanwhile. If I replace it, it gets a standard screen, if the new owner replaces it, they get the screen they want, but we’ll see how we proceed.
