2008 SLK 300 electrical issue

2008 Benz SLK 300
Stored the car for the winter. When attempting to start it, battery was low. Got a booster pack, no luck. Charged the battery and now the key fob won't turn.. swapped the key, nothing. Steering not locked. What's wrong?
