Hi everyone.
For some time I've had the dreaded glow plug light - Likely cause of a failed glow plug.
I've read one or two "How To" vids and decided I'd give it a go.
First problem has been finding the glow plugs.
I can find them all on the LHS of the engine.
I can get the electrical connectors off two of them.
The middle one is under the batwing.
I was surprised to check them with my meter and find that the resistance is very low ... Only a fraction of an ohm.
So I guess it's neither of these.
I can't access any of the right hand side three plugs without removing quite a few items.

Can anyone guide me to a really good step-by-step "Hot To" for this job.
It looks like access is a major part of the job.
It's 90.000 miles since the glow plugs were last changed.
So - I'm considering changing all 6.

I'm expecting to find the failed plug open-circuit.

Advice and guidance please.

Me again.
Since my initial post, I've done a bit of searching.
There are a number of "How To" vids for this job.
This one appears to be the best I can find - So I'm going to give it a go.

Off to MB of Leeds now to get the 6 glow plugs and a new red seal for the bat-wing to turbo joint.
Wish me luck
[with MB of Leeds, that is ...... The job comes a bit later.]

Went to MB of Leeds today to buy the parts for the job:

6 glow plugs A001 159 71 01
Red seal - Batwing to turbo A642 094 00 80
Red seal - Breather to batwing A642 094 05 80

Guess what .... They didn't have the glow plugs in stock.
This must be a really unusual part to be asked for ..... NOT !
So - Back to MB tomorrow for the part.
