Nothing wrong with that. Scirocco is a good-looking car, but let down by poor interior and bad rear visibility. Can't really judge new A-Class until we see it.

I can understand what people think it is a step back rather than a step forward, but it is still a Merc and should therefore be a good car.

We moan about the quality of the bodywork on late nineties and early naugties cars but that takes the biscuit. It looks so flimsy, like the panels have just been stuck on. Check out the panel gaps on the front wing in the photo below.

That two tone matt/shiny black plastic, and all those dimples at the back of the car just look plain ridiculous. Even the aerial is in a silly place surely they should be integrated into the glass, or at least a sexy "bee-sting" jobby.

No if this crazy Mad Max school of design is the future of Mercedes, then I'll buy a BMW next.

Thats a prototype, the body has plastic panels attached to it to stop photographers from revealing the shape of the car before launch

The ariel is to transmit testing data back to HQ and will not be on the final car. - its out of the window!
