Thank you for reading my post.
Due to a crash my 2014 E300 was written off and I replaced it with a 2015 E300. I had no issues with my 2014 E300.
This car has a few problems. The hybrid very rarely kicks in. I suspect its the 12V battery but before buying a new one looking for advice.
Overnight the battery voltage falls to 12.1V, when the engine is on battery voltage is 14.X volts so it is charging and alternator is good.
The car rarely goes into hybrid electric only mode. I know this is a mild hybrid but I should be in electric only mode in slow traffic and going down hills as was the case with my 2014 E300.
What is the minimum voltage the battery needs to be to for stop start to work. Could it be anything else causing a issue with hybrid mode and stop start. I also bought the Ancel BZ700 Scanner but didn't have time to do much with it yet.
One other problem, the right brake light and right tail light come up as warning on the dashboard. I can't see any problem with the brake lights when I press the brake compared to the left side. The right taillights are a lot duller compared to the ones on the left. Is a new taillight LED unit required to fix this.
