2015 S212 alarm siren location

Evening all,

I'm having trouble with my alarm going off all the time, I want to remove the alarm siren as I believe the battery inside is failing. I'm sure it's on the passenger side (left side) of the car but not sure on the exact location. Anyone and ideas the exact location? Thanks

Are you sure this car is a S212 and not W212 ?

Yep, the S212 is the estate, the W212 is the saloon. Doesn't matter anyway I sorted it last night.

The 'S' and 'W' thing is very odd.

S = Saloon in English and Salon (or limousine) in German

W = Wagon (in USA english) and Wagen in German

Unless of course you are the German manufacturer of German cars.

You swap the two around S = Wagon and W = Saloon

No , me niether . I am sure someone on here knows the answer.

Yeah I know what you mean but if you Google Merc S212 is shows estates, and W212 shows saloons
