Quite a while since last I posted, but still ‘lurk’.

I guess I could do with changing the name and thumbnail as after 10 years of owning it the W211 e class has gone, to be replaced by this stunning CLS Shooting Brake.

Had wanted to get an e63s just to scratch the itch of owning a V8, but the beauty of this model has always stood out for me, and the 3L diesel isn’t exactly slow.

1 owner car and only 13500 miles on the clock. Seven Mercedes dealership stamps in the (digital) book and it’s in stunning condition.

Very, very happy so far. Long May that feeling continue!

That is fabulous! I really like these, and can see one replacing my S212 at some point.

My god that's shiny!

What colour is that? Blue/ silver/even grey?
Love the interior colour and I am actually starting to come round to the iPads a little now

It’s selenite grey and the leather is porcelain. I like a light colour interior, but it’s a bit impractical until kids/grandkids are past the mucky stage!

And 100% agree with you on the i Pads - I always thought that it was a bit of a ‘stick-on’ job, but actually, it’s ok in the car.

It's a grey with a hint of blue

I always think the airmail ones sit too high..... but was shot down in flames by the membership last time I mentioned it as apparently the steel sprung and air CLS are the same height ( they aren't though! :) ).

You could hide a small child in that wheel arch gap!
Hopefully its airmatic on its highest setting.

That's what I was thinking, my C Class has airmatic but only looks like that if you raise it to the highest setting.

It is either in its highest setting or has just been hoisted without the wheels being on the ground, after which it takes time to settle - but looks like the former. Seems a lovely car - great colour combo and Airmatic.

Never understood the shooting brake saying. Does it mean estate? Nice looking car.👍

I'm saying nothing...:D
