203 cruise control

Mine works just fine but really only because I know how that system works. When it is engaged I see nothing on the ash to say cruise is working. The handbook doesn't seem to say anything should light up/stand out but since the e class shows very clearly the set speed etc I'd amazed if the 203 has nothing.
What do others see?

Prepare to be amazed! There is no indication on mine either, unless you set the 'maximum' speed where an orange LED comes on the CC arm...

When the orange light is on cruis control is off an speedtronic is on

When my 203 maintains speed with feet off the pedals I know cruise control is on, and the speedo needle points at the set speed.

No indication to say cruise is on. The amber light on the stalk is to tell you the speed limiter in on...

It was definitely called that on my 2006 W203.

Things may have changed since, I do not know....
