My 2007 E320 is at the dealership awaiting an oxygen sensor and I have a nice new E250cdi hire/courtesy car until the repair is complete.
Interestingly since I do the same 50 mile trip in the 2007 320 often enough I know what kind of fuel consumption the bigger and older car achieves and was shocked to see the result on getting home with the newer and smaller engined car. around 36mpg for the 320 and 32.5 for the 250. I do realise that it may do better when it loosens up. It is also poorly insulated from road noise.
Still a very nice car though.
The dealer let me out for a test drive of an E class 500 convertible too. Good fun on wet roundabouts:bannana:
