Thats good, considering its 22 years old. Only 3 years to go for 'classic status' and free road tax:bannana:
Seriously, though How many NEW mercs still on the road do you still expect to see in 22 years time? My guess is none and it pee's me off why MB can't make great cars any more.
Er, sorry to disappoint you. Originally cars 25 years old would get free tax. Then the government shifted the goalposts (where have we seen that before?) and its now pre -1973 cars only.

Sorry again. The car will never be registered pre-1973. Under the current rules he will always pay road tax for it for as long as it keeps passing that damn MOT, which hopefully will be for a very long time
