That just mean's you cant fit the engine and box as one unit, you know you want to.

What would it involve? Curiosity at this moment and time more than anything. If it evolves new ecu 's I'm out

Everything you need is in your donor car, the 300-24 ecu and engine harness swap into the 190 fairly easily.

Another advantage with the 2.6 over the 2.0 is the bigger brakes but the brakes from the 24v are even better and p.o.p to fit.

is it really that easy to fit the 3.0 24v into a m102?? what about engine mounts drive, shafts etc etc??

Use the existing parts, it is all interchangable. If your keeping aircon you might need to mod the radiator mounts, that's it.

would you retro fit the oil cooler as well??

My view: You have a cracking looking wagon here that needs just that little extra to get it back to top spec. It already owes you some money. Try and save her if you can or push like hell on here to find a buyer that will be able to rescue her. These really are the most desirable of the Wagons (look at the good 123 prices now).

Mine was rebuilt from huge help, parts and perseverance from members on here.

There is a convenient space in front of the passenger wheel that the cooler fits nicely :)

I've fallen out of love for it now. I'll advertise it for a while but you're right it's too nice to split for parts.

The 190 is far beyond my mechanical talents and I don't need another fast car so it can stay standard... Always tempting to get more power in anything but this isn't it for me.

So the car is still for sale guys and I won't be doing a 3.0 190 sadly
