4x4 tyre review

Can anyone recommend a website that reviews 4x4 tyres? I'm struggling to find something suitable using Google.

I'm looking for tyres for my father's Hyundai Tucson. It's a soft-roader that is used on flat muddy fields, steep wet and sometimes icy lanes, but not heavy off-roading.

Any tyres recommendations much appreciated.

I'm using Insa Saharas on the rally car - they are rated at 80/20 (80% offroad, 20% on-road).

I can't recomment them enough, self-cleaning groves, used in HEAVY offroading and never go stuck, and even towed out a land-rover with my Petrol mitsubishi...

Might be overkill for you, but have a look at the Insa range... Also, I've heard of good things of the grizzly claw range - but again, for heavy offroad use...

BF Goodrich All Terrain KO, 50/50 tyre I've had more than 10 sets on my company vehicles they are superb, self cleaning cleats and will give 45K mileage.

I've had three Shoguns Spinal, they are great machines, very tough. It should serve you well on your mission!

I recommend Hankooks
I have a Kia Sorento that I soft / off-road and the Hankook 4x4 range are superb both on and off road. They are also brilliant value. I also have them on a Range Rover Sport but they are low-profiles on 20'' alloys for road use. They perform as well as the Continentals they replaced.
