Hi Everyone

This is my first Mercedes and will be picking it up next Wednesday. Can someone confirm if iPod video can be played whilst stationary in the vehicle. It has two usb ports in the armrest, one I've been told is "Apple ready" and a connection in the glove box. So I was wondering if it will play video using one of these 3 ports or if I would need to purchase the media interface plus box that plugs into the glove box port, or if none of these will do it on the new ML250

Dont think COMAND supports Video playback. The iPod interface is just for music playback through the Media option.

I have seen it on cars with Command and think it's just a case of getting the right cables. Just seen there is also a box you can plug in from Navitec which supports video playback so will need to investigate a bit more

I don't know about iPod, but I played a DVD in my E class to see if it would - it did. Latest Comand release @ April 2015.

I will add only while stationary.
