Hey everyone, so I pulled my 722.9 conductor plate out a couple days ago and sent it for repair. When I pulled it out of the transmission the little yellow mesh cone thingy fell and I couldn’t figure out where it goes, my plate is coming in tomorrow if anyone has any pointers I’d appreciate it. Thanks!

Its the filter for the torque converter feed. From memory it goes in the front left corner of the gearbox casing (left as if you were sat in driver seat). It pushes up into place and the valve block goes over it. I’ll check in my manual in a bit to confirm

Welcome aboard, who have you used to repair the plate,I suspect you know that the sump bolts have to be renewed :D

Thanks I'd really appreciate if you can confirm on the manual, since I don't have a copy. I just took a screenshot of a video, is this where it would go?

Thanks a lot for the help, this will really help me while installing tomorrow!

I've sent it to Circuit Board Medics here in the US, as for the bolts, yes I have ordered a full kit off of FCP Euro also located in the US!

Just so I don't start a new post, could you confirm the torque specs on the bolts for me?
8nm for the solenoid brackets
1nm for TCM to conductor plate
and 7nm for housing to transmission

4nm +90 degrees for the valve block to transmission case. The others I’ll need to check

Ok I have confirmed 4nm for both valve block to tranny and transmission cover to transmission because they both use aluminum bolts.

Can't seem to find a definitive answer to "solenoid brackets to TCM" and "TCM to valve body".
