The 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine has been upgraded from the series 585 horsepower (430 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) to no less than 900 horsepower (662 kW) at 5,700 rpm and an electronically-capped torque of 1,300 Nm (960 lb-ft) between 1,600 rpm and 5,700 rpm.

Yeah the bonnet vents are teetering on slightly too much for me, but unusually, I like that a lot. It looks like a proper weapon.

I agree it does look good for one of their conversions, but could you put the power down or would you need your own rubber plantation with new tyres every 4k miles or less. It must sound amazing.

I drove the standard one (remembering I drive a ML63 and a SL55 everyday), and turned left at a roundabout onto a dual carriageway and booted it, and made *full* use of ESP.

So, 1300Nm would be seriously scary.
