97 C Class 250 TD Sport Estate 49000miles - opinions reqd please

Hi all

I have been offered a c class as above and was wondering a few things:

The spec is basically as follows:

Dark green metallic
Climate control
Electric seats
grey leather
1 "old chap" owner
49000 miles

What should the car be worth?

I have an MY99 E320 (W210) facelift saloon at the moment, which is not being used as I have just been given a Smart car for everyday use. The wife has a MY99 Ford Focus TDdi. It seems a waste to have my merc sitting doing nothing. I thought I would trade the merc and ford in, and replace with a small estate (wife doens't like driving my "big" car).

This one has been offered plus a cheque.

Thanks for your comments. I am going to sell mine privately and look for a W210 e320cdi estate.

I had a C220 cdi, which I've just got rid of, and now have an E320CDi. The E class is a much, much nicer car. At the moment it's rust-free, but don't know if it will stay that way.
