97 c220 diesel wagon

If anyone can help would be awesome, I live in Canada but this mb was imported from GE because our dear govt will not alow even dealers to bring newer diesel vehicles of any make or model, so I purchased this one two weeks ago. Ran excellent untill I pulled into driveway half way up and turned it off, took it out of gear, and pressed the park break. I took the key out but qhen I went to get out of the car, it rolled back a couple of feet, so I pressed the break lever down all the way and it stayed put. When I went to get back in car, 2 minutes later, all the dash lights came on and stayed on, except the glowplugs one, and qhen I turn the key to stary it did not turn over at all, and it makes a sound lile the starter motor is spinning but does not crank the motor. Almost feels like the computer is overriding startup sequence for some reason. I have a couple short videos that I will try to post. But if this sounds even remotely familiar, I would greatly appreciate any input. Also the manual of the car is in German and I cannot read it too easely, but so far Google has worked for things I looked at. Unfortunately it does not have a.section reffering to a situation where all dash lights stay on. Thank you for your time in reading.this and please help. We junked our other car and now are stuck with one that wont start. Also please reply asap cuz baby #2 is coming anyday. Thanks
