If its one of Colins' own cars then I suspect it will be mechanically sound.
That car used to be owned by Ian Wright of Star Motors in Caversham. He used it as a track car, selling it a 5 or 6 years ago. It was driven hard but well looked after too.
He wanted a more powerful track car so sold it to a young guy who worked next door to him at Tone's Bodyshop (for £1,500 IIRC. I didn't want it) where the body modifications & paint were carried out. Dunno what happened with the guy, he was still working there but it ended up parked unused for years in a corner of the communal car park the two businesses share & I think Ian pretty much told the bloke to shift it as the space was needed.
