I have just bought an A Class A150 Classic SE on a 56 plate. I would like to use the built in steering wheel controls to use a mobile phone. I'm not sure if the car is pre-wired and we need to use two phones, hence bluetooth would be better than a cradle.
Does anyone know where I start with this as I am reluctant to take it to a MB dealer because of cost. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

if the car bluetooth you can use all the controls on the wheel to access the phone's address book, make and receive calls with out taking your hands off the wheel.

Hi - do you know where on the centre console? I cannot see anything other than a small white blanking plate near to the cigarette lighter socket.
Thanks

If your car has the centre armrest, there is a pop out drawer which, if you have phone, will have a connector in it, possibly under a cover about 4cm x 4cm. If not it just has a rubber liner.

If your car does not have the centre armrest, it will be to the side of the handbrake.
