Hi guys! Just a quick one, looking to do an oil change on my 2015 A220D W176. I’m guessing the sump plug is behind the under tray? Anybody know the location of it as I don’t want to crack open the gearbox fluid cheers sean

Some (maybe all) main dealers and many diy'ers use an extraction pump to suck the oil out of the sump via the dipstick tube.
It saves having to take the undertrays off and is just as effective at getting all the old oil out.

Sump drain one last time , fit a magnetic Gold Plug .

Get a 9 L oil extractor and pump from the dip stick tube.

yes, I have a good magnetic sump plug & suck oil out via the dipstick hole.
Get oil hot & set up the drain whilst you're changing the other filters:)

During my DIY years I did fit a sump plug magnet. I used to clean the fine metal shards of it at every oil change (though the physics says it's not needed it they won't be going anywhere....).
