A Class W176 Wishbone bolt.. Please help !

Hi guys I need some urgent advice.
Went to change both the front bottom wishbones on my wife's W176 AMG Sport. As standard, dislodged the ball joint, removed the x3 Etorx 14 bolts, all going well. Went to remove the Etorx 20 bolt and the retaining clip on the nut fell apart with the bolt just spinning. The other side, just the same but the clip was inside the sub frame with the bolt seized solid. Do I have to cut the wishbone off to get access through the small section thats missing in the subframe to get to the nut ? Any advice welcome guys.
