ABC

[V500Tony]

Hi I have owned my SL500 for 1 year and love it but it had an MOT were it was put on a ramp that shakes to cheque the suspension after that the ABC struts would not go up or down on the switch
I took it to my independent MB garage were i was told it was the left front strut !!! this makes no sense the car goes up and down when you leave it in the raised or lower setting and hold pressure
I,m thinking could it be an electrical connection ,can any help

Hi Tony and welcome to the forum. ABC has a tendency to be a bit fickle to the average garage and I would therefore strongly suggest you find an independent MB garage that has Star diagnostics (& some one who knows how to use it properly). I can not remember the name but I'm sure there is such a place in the Sidcup/Bexley area. A quick bit of research should find it, either via this forum or by reviews etc.
