Hi Guys,

Anyone any ideas as how to normalise the volume on my various computer resident mp3's? Iv'e got loads of cd tracks that I ripped to my hard drive but listening to them with winamp is painful cos the volume is so different between tracks. Obviously I would prefer a freebie prog but I'm so desperate that I might even buy one! A pal lent me Nero to try before buying but I find it difficult to burn music dvd's and can't find out how to normalise, (the normalise feature is greyed out).

Incidentaly this is not a computer prob cos if I load the cds into my normal hi-fi player withought altering the volume, different cds have massively different levels.

Any ideas please?

MTIA

Cheers

Dave
