No picture of the driver's seat bolster as usual, I wonder how worn it is? Mind you, a second hand seat wouldn't break the bank for that.

That's 55k a year... and no service history - at 13k per service interval, the car will need over four services a year. In MB money that's around 1.5k a year, before brake discs, pads, filters, ATF, etc etc..... no wonder then that the car has no service history

If the price was right (no idea if it is in this case), cars like this wouldnt worry me if the history was there to back up regular servicing.

It has to be motorway driving at that mileage and i suspect you would be surprised at the seat bolster - yes its done all that mileage, but when you cover all that miles a day, you are not constantly getting in/out, which is what wears the bolster.

But, i'll stick with my faithful 240k 606 engine

Doesn't look like it has done that mileage either (externally).

Motorway munching would place the least stress on it so I can well imagine there's a lot of life in that one yet.

My Brother does 55K to 60K miles a year, his cars are in for a service almost every month !! he has before now filled them up two times a day !!

His current a Jag X type sport 2.0d Manual is on around 175K and has actually been a VERY good car. Probably worth about 5p now but looks great.

Which company keeps a car for 335k miles? Which company keeps a car for 6 years? Something doesn't sit right with this. I'd put money on it being a taxi with an interior replacement. Didn't sell, has been relisted which would suggest whoever won the auction decided not to go through with it.....
