I recently had my a/c fixed in my car ( or at least I thought I had ) but last Friday I was driving home and I heard a loud pop and then saw some smoke appear around my car, from the back I think. Then after another couple of minutes the air vents all started blowing hot air into my face so by the time I got home I was toast.
Anyway I had already coughed up for a new ac pipe and the garage had pressure tested it etc etc. In my bill it did say that there may have been an excess pressure build up or blockage in the a/c system which is what caused the original and now new pipe to both burst.
Does anyone else have any experience of this same problem? Many thanks in advance and yes I will be taking it back.
