Air scarf problem

Evening all

The passenger air scarf has developed a fault on my R231 SL63, when I press the button all three lights come on, it starts but switches off after 5 - 10 seconds, tried changing the settings, it responds with the corresponding lights but still switches off after 5 - 10 seconds. No other warning lights, drivers side works ok

Ideas, thoughts, feedback appreciated

I have this exact problem on a 20 plate SL400 - both sides not working and lights out after 9 seconds.
What was your solution?

In my E400 it was the control module, (a fairly cheap part from Mercedes) located under the boot lining

Update Sep 24 - Mercedes garage investigated and confirmed BOTH air scarf motors/fans were defective and replaced them under warranty. Now all cosy and working.
