Yep, still toying with the idea of changing trim to wood. Any links to suppliers, prices? (yes Malcolm, I remember your posts, just hoping I might find some cheaper!!)

I was happy in my SL with the alli, now you have upset me and I will have to change to black, its the only colour to go with the charcoal leather, that will mean a new steering wheel to

Sorry Malcolm But having been in a C class with the Birdseye trim I just gotta change. It just looks more classy! IMHO

The sales book says that the alli is more sporty, in mine, I do not like the normal woods with charcoal trim, so the only option is black ash.

I liked mine until you started this off, also I talked a friend into buying one, so he got a 2006 car with designo trim and 9k miles, mind you he paid £30k more for his, and that is alot of money, still I have keyless go, Distronic, lingutronic, Tyre pressure monitors and a tv, and mine is only 20k miles now

Anyone know if this is still available for the 124?? I'm pretty sure I have seen some bits on Ebay...

Not sure if its still avaliable, but the E500 Limited (94-95) had this kit, so try your MB dealer. Birds eye maple was only offered to the 500 of the 124 series although it should fit in your 124 too.
