AMG A35 Remaps

It ought to! As predicted the A35 going the same way as Golf R , everyone and their auntie doing a remap then pretending it’s “Std” come handing it back or selling on, if it goes bang good luck with MB :thumb:

If you really want to know if it will effect your Warrenty ask MB rather than the “experts” on here :D

PS I’m no expert

PPS Don’t forget to tell your insurer you’ve remapped it

Has anyone had a stage 1 remap, and does this effect Mercedes warranty etc.
It will, hence Dtuk box and pedal box probably a safer choice. And do declare it.

Saying that I have mapped every BMW I owned under warranty and no impact, never detected. Then again I never had an engine issue beyond an exhaust sensor.

If you want more power, buy the A45....
And if you don't want to more than double you monthlies buy a tuning box (pointless point once again)

0-60 down by 0.6 seconds. Just think what you can do with all that time you have saved ! Personally I think the 0-60 time is possibly the most useless measure of velocity going. 30-100 is where it counts on the road (Kph of course ;))

Disagree, most of your big acceleration opportunities these days are from stand still to the speed limit. For 30-100 I have a Spires 640bhp 600lbsft XFR. But in normal day driving it doesn't know which way the A35 went.

0-60 is bollocks in these days of electronic intervention. Back in the day when real skill was involved in getting it off the line it meant something, not any more , at least not to me. It's what the kids in the work canteen talk about. Also the massive strain it puts on the car for no good reason is a factor IMHO.

Your age is showing through. [emoji23][emoji1787] Apologies but horse for course and all that.

I'm young. It matters.

Totally agree re skill but if using this electronic wizardry I get ahead of that truck safely or get in the right lane safely. Win win.

Anyway your taking this off topic. If you are not looking to tune an A35 troll elsewhere.

Yes young man - this is the bit where the screen goes into black and white - I remember trying to get my 1000cc Kawasaki off the line at the drag strip only to get beaten by a kid on a Yamaha RD 400 (google it) because he was better than me - also less power and weight - at juggling throttle/clutch/wheel spin and keeping the front wheel on the ground all at the same time. Aaah Happy day's. Now excuse me its time for my nap.

OK back on topic. Dont buy an A35 and tune it , buy an A45 and drive it. I'm out.
Grandpa can you give me the £20k difference please or I will spend the £500 for the box.

...... Oh he's asleep.
