just to show how 'original' can be a nightmare, hear is the guy selling som white ones, that only say AMG, but are by his own words, fake.

genuine ones ive seen are not bright white, and the AMG is bigger.

None of the E36's Ive owned have AMG on the speedo. They probably didnt want to make a different speedo for a the total of 40 RHD UK cars.

Only the lhd drive E36 and the 3.4 had them as 280KMH

d w 124, the pics you posted above are of two different speedos, the first is amg and the second /// amg.

as far as white goes, there may well have been a choice as to black or white, but all the white ones i've seen that are 'genuine' are not bright white, they are off white.

if you want to fit some that are just stickers, then go ahead, i aint one to say only genuine is ok, fit what YOU like to your car, its yours, just dont pay over the odds.

as far as e36 goes, it was after the merger, so wouldnt have been avalible with the original amg extras.
