AMG Dampers Refurb

My 190E has original AMG dampers. They're working fine but are now starting to look a little scruffy. Is there anyone who will rebuild and finish them? I've seen a place online that will do Koni but I think these were made by Boge? Anyone?

Might it not be a better bet to get new dampers (Sachs, Bilstein B6/B8) of a similar spec to the old ones?
