I am starting my project now . my c36 is needing some tlc . knowing this when i bought it which is why i paid low money for it. first tackle the rust and miss aligned panels not too bad though. then its going in for paint whilst this is happening the wheels are getting referb.
then for the engine and minor interior faults . then i am ready for the ring.
im going for the standard look (sleeper).
I take it apart from the engine and ecu everything else is c280k ??
any advice or pointers ?? cheers

Back then they started life as C280s and got sent to AMG to become C36s

I'll be following this with great interest.

I think the front brakes were off the SL600 weren't they? The suspension must be different from the 280 as well.
