Our son had a very early 124 with AC running on R12 refrigerant. It was subsequently converted to R134-a. As far as I can remember no parts were replaced but it did require flushing and different lubricants to be inserted.

Yes and when that was done on my Saab, it was never as cold as with the old gas. I wonder if changing some other parts makes it work better?

Aargh 30 posts still won't let me post a Wanted in the Classified section. Wonder if 31 will, or overnight refresh, or standing on tiptoe ?!
