Very interested in this, bit worried about the shift in the MOT end date though, anybody in the area to go and view???????

Ask seller for the MOT number and if it's a new style one you can check it online.

Ah! I see both of you have 500 SEC`s, what are they like on fuel? I have the E55 and that can be very thirsty but I want something I can make sound like a V8, I could remove a lot of the exhaust on the 55 but that wouldnt suit the car, a big rumbly sound from that SEC would go which is why I want one, but if they drink more fuel than the 55 I would be tempted to shy away

Mine does low teens on town driving and low 20s on runs - maybe 25ish.

Not much different to my 300 24 really.

Looks nice enough, the MOT date could be an honest mistake, at least he has come clean and admitted there is no MOT, ended in June '06. That could be a problem. I have a feeling it could go for a 'song' without an MOT & tax ended as well. Like the wheels though.

Would definately want to put it through a MOT before bidding myself, and there is not much time left to do that, which is unfortunate, because it looks nice.

As far as fuel goes, I had a 560sel. Wasn't too bad, depended how it was driven really, I was getting around 15-18 mpg. around town, 25 on the open road.

That does look quite good but they can hide alot of corrosion underneith, I haven't driven mine much but it will be on Ebay soon with a years MOT . Could do with some TLC on the bodywork though...
