It's wet 'n cold here and the roads are filthy with salt

Cleaned the car yesterday as it was beautiful sunshine. One short trip and it looks like I've neglected it for weeks!!

Already been out-Just got in... Left home in Chessington, M25 to Godstone, then A22 to Uckfield then back up the A26 to Sevenoaks via Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and finally M25 back to Leatherhead. Average MPG was 24.1...and that's with my lead welly

Luckily I have my winter wheel/tyres on the car and the AMGs are tucked away 'til spring

Good move.

I try to keep mine tucked away over winter as much as I can, but I hate leaving it sitting for weeks/ months on end without driving it.

This time of year is very stressful for me.

Only has the SL for a couple of months but so far I'm estatic with the car and the MPG for what it is....No point having a V8 if you don't use it is there

I drove to Shrewsbury a couple of months back an averaged 24.5 mpg!
I was extremely happy and surprised with this considering the engine.:bannana:

Using a V8 when you have one.... yeah, I hear ya, bud.
