No but, I fancy dropping that in my 124 coupe...:D

I think there is a rear end to this car on ebay too, LSD if anybody wants one, was thinking about it for the E55 but she is for sale, unless I get that 3 litre manual 124 thats also on ebay.........

Would that be the 300_24 and dog leg manual box? if so I know the other bidder. he wants me to put it in a 190 2.5

Well I was thinking you could drop the 3.6 into my 124 instead of the head etc. :D

About the LSD though, I have a magazine about the Carlsson C35 which is a 300E-24 bored out ect. and it quotes "unchanged is the four speed automatic transmisson with anti-slip differential" Is that the same thing? so the 300E-24 has an LSD??

The late generation 104 engines are not a simple swap into early Kjet cars like yours ,ALL late sensors must be present and functional including 4 wheel ABS NOT 3 sensor as on your car. Even AC and alarm outputs are required for the engine ECU.

Yeh I read your post, but thats a early Kjet to Kjet swap, the electronic changes between early 90s MB and mid to late 90s are vast and far reaching. The swap from 103 to 104 24V is a easy 2 day changeover because the cars are from the same era with easy parts interchange ability. The 320 104 swap is fairly heavy going with a donor car but the 202 104 electonics are can bus and require many more protocols.

2 day yeah ok
I would still take on the challenge, I did look into dropping a later 104 in but I didn't like the idea of having to pay for a new loom before I even started...

Wow! £870 was a total bargain.
Was it bought by a forum member?
Surely a great mod for any W124 E320?

Edit...
Will the twin turbo setup fit the 3.6 engine?
