Anyone have a designo E55K W211?

Hello guys,

I'm looking to buy an e55 amg w211 saloon but it has to be a unique colour as I'm not a fan of silver or black, which they all seem to be!
There's a member here ( minty63 ) that has one blue/purple colour with champagne interior and that car was for sale 2 years ago and I missed out on it and to this day I still regret it. I've tried to contact him but he hasn't been online since January, If anyone knows him or has his number, would it be possible to ask him if he'd be interested in selling the car?

Recently I saw an e55 w211 that was a colour I'd never seen before and I got so excited when I saw the car, i thought I was going to persuade the owner to sell it to me that same day I saw the car but the owners wife was driving it and her words were, "There's more chance my husband getting rid of me than selling this car" it was low mileage too and they had it since new!

You could always get a silver or black one and have it wrapped in any colour you want.
It will be quicker than waiting for the almost impossible designo colour to appear.

Oh seriously when I saw that e55 I couldn't believe it as I've been going on about one in a rare colour for some time now and I thought it was going to be mine, in a way now I wish I didn't know that car existed because I can't have it.
I have my m3 wrapped and it was done by yannimize and they've done a fantastic job but I want something original that's why I don't want to wrap a car again or spray it as it will loose value.
Good things come to those who wait they say..... I hope I won't be an old man by the time a designo one comes

W211 is most popular in silver or black because it wears those colours extremely well - they suit its very nature of a taxi. Every time a funny coloured W211 comes up I have a feeling it tries to fit in the beauty contest where it doesn’t belong. Not all cars look good in all colours. Large 4 door saloons, estates and SUVs more so than others. CLS, SL, CLK and other exotica, yes, Designo every time.

Stay patient for a little while more. I've been looking for a C63 507 edition for a little while and after registering on here and asking for some advice my ideal car in Magno Platinum Matt appeared and I have paid the deposit on the car

That era E class is a timeless classic for me and the best design of all the Es in saloon and estate version. Such a beautiful car from all angles. I saw a dark green one the other day, but it looked glittery in the sun. I don't know if it had been repainted or wrapped, but it was very striking even as a non AMG. My mate has one, a 2003 diesel with 220k on the clock, he is the 3rd owner. It’s a grey/blue colour with chrome and it doesn’t have a mark on it.

Should be on Quest TV.
1st programme is 6th Sept but they couldn't say which of the 4 in total this bit of film would appear in.
So either 6th, 13th,20th or 27th Sept.
Don't hold your breath, its will only be 6 minutes long in total. 2mins per car.

Exterior colour is obviously the first thing you see but it is also one of the easiest things to change. Spec/toys are more important to me as they are more difficult/expensive to retrofit in some cases, especially properly. Finding the perfect second hand car is nigh on impossible.
