Anyone have a designo E55K W211?

Tanzanite always looks great. I looked for two years to find my cls55 in that colour with light interior. Apparently only 3 in UK I was told. So be patient and what you want will pop up eventually.
I may not be correct here but I believe the melanite black (dark green) colour has a larger metallic flake which makes it glisten slightly more. Lovely colour though.

I think I'd have to see what colours the E55Ks still out there are in to make a judgement.

Sometimes a theoretical colour can sounds awful but look really good - and vice versa.

However, there are not a lot of E55Ks around now it seems so exactly what colours are still around is probably very limited.

Hello guys,

I'm looking to buy an e55 amg w211 saloon but it has to be a unique colour as I'm not a fan of silver or black, which they all seem to be!
There's a member here ( minty63 ) that has one blue/purple colour with champagne interior and that car was for sale 2 years ago and I missed out on it and to this day I still regret it. I've tried to contact him but he hasn't been online since January, If anyone knows him or has his number, would it be possible to ask him if he'd be interested in selling the car?

Recently I saw an e55 w211 that was a colour I'd never seen before and I got so excited when I saw the car, i thought I was going to persuade the owner to sell it to me that same day I saw the car but the owners wife was driving it and her words were, "There's more chance my husband getting rid of me than selling this car" it was low mileage too and they had it since new!

I think I saw this red once before at Acid's place on an E55K he had up on a ramp.

Oven struggled to find a good obsidian black E55 which I finally have after a long time! It has he designo Merlin (maroon) interior with heated rear seats. so I hope you find What you want soon .

I recently saw a grey one on eBay last week, ok spec but good price at 10k ono , it was a bit late for me as I had already committed to a car.

Nope. It's in my blood for sure but I've had to transfuse that out with the passage of time somewhat!

Even if I did want an AMG again, I couldn't decide on which one anyway so that's a handy first world problem isn't it.

I can't pretend that, when Jules stated he might change his car at some point, I wasn't interested!

Although I detect a fairly imminent change Roger due to the question on dealer quarter-ends!

Well spotted.
Yes I'm thinking ahead to when I sadly have to let the E55 go and move on to something else.
The facelift E63 Biturbo is almost certainly the car. Has to be Palladium, not white or black, so I'm going to be limited when the time comes.

Fantastic colour! A friend of mine had an e270 cdi in the same colour and when the sun hits it it looks fantastic.

Love the cls amg's and i was set on buying a cls but for some reason i want the e55 more now! Maybe its because my father used to have an e320 cdi and i loved the car.... I put some amg 19's and amg spoiler and it was a high spec car. it drove so nice and looked so good with the amg wheels.

A friend of mine had an E270cdi In the same colour and it just looked so good when the sun came out!

I'm still looking for an E55AMG but nothing that I like has come up.

The burgundy E55AMG that I posted a pic in this thread is currently for sale but it has over 140k on the clock. Too much for me.

I have sent a few messages to minty63 asking about his e55amg but he has ignored all the messages.
I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit disappointed that I never got a reply as he is active and we are all car enthusiasts and if someone asks if I'm selling a car ( and members have asked ) I just reply out of respect.
I wish i did get a reply, just a simple thanks for asking but it's not for sale.

I'm sure something will come up at some point.
