Anyone know this dealer?

Drove past them enough times, never had any dealings though.
And most certainly, never saw a Ferrari on their forecourt :)

Are you after anything in particular?

Off to Birmingham tomorrow late morning, but can pop in there for you early morning to see whats what (they wont be open though).

Thats a very kind offer and if its not out of your way I would appreciate that :thumb:

If its outside and you can see it I would appreciate the heads up as it may save me a 350 round trip. I appreciate you can't hear it running but an eye over the bodywork would be great, main rot points are under the trim top of door but bottom of window if that makes sense, and where sill meets rear arches.

I'll PM you my mobile details so you can just text me or call which may be easier for you.

Once again thank you so much for your very magnanimous gesture :thumb:

No probs, they are only few miles away from me.
I will take few pictures for you, if these are outside.

Well I just wanted to say a big public thank you to Cinek not only did he go and look at the car for me he sent me 22 high definition photo's which were enough to allow me to assess the condition of the car and realise it was not worth the 350 mile round trip and all this before he went out with his own family on a Bank holiday Monday.

Thank you very much sir you are indeed a top man and I hope I can repay the favour some day.

It also goes to show the great commerardery that exists on this forum and is why by far it is the best MB forum out there.

Just a thought - but if looking for a car for circa £1500 is a garage the best place - most may well be of "del boy" quality trying to get their £1500 for something that is worth virtually nothing. Perhaps flea bay, auto trader or an ad in the local supermarket may well be the best place to look.

That's exactly where I am looking some one put me onto that garage and the cars in particular which is why I though it was worth a look :thumb: If I draw a blank today its down the auctions tonite :thumb:

You want Cinek to go there, as well?

I think you're asking a bit much really.

:D

Trouble is, me at the auctions = kid in sweetshop :D

Need to learn to keep my hands in my pockets more.

SWMBO also keeps reminding me last time I went out to buy a car (Porsche 997) I came back with a 38ft caravan :D

So I do easily get distracted

Just had a look on autotrader for my local-ish area, no Honda Jazz's within your £1500 price limit.

The following two are about the best I could find, if you are still searching. I don't know anything about either model or indeed the garage where the Corsa is for sale. Both are fairly close to me if they are of any interest.

Vauxhall Corsa 1.4i 16V Comfort 5dr Auto Genuine Low Miles 2001

Mercedes-Benz A Class A140L Elegance 5dr Auto Hatchback 1.4 2002

Thanks for that the A class is a no go due to expensive repairs but the Corsa looks nice thanks, will discuss it with him this evening.

I've also found a nice focus today but when the guy backed it back into its space he hit the metal fence and put a nice crease in the boot. I want to see it with the boot inner panel removed and then it might be a negotiation on price reduction as car is mint 66,000 one female owner full set of dealer stamps and repairs folder. So viewing again tomorrow evening

I guess you missed what I quoted in my post!

(Clue: It's a shop...).

:D

Sorry I thought you were replying to my post of going to the auction and wanted Cinek to go there too, I completely missed the post in between with the Top Man reference, nice one :D
